= README for inventory Once upon a time, listing everything installed on your system was simple. You had a package manager and that was it. Nowadays, normal systems often have multiple additional installation channels *Inventory* gives you a unified listing spanning all installation channels. It queries using apt, pacman, rpm-ostree, dnf, tdnf, urpmi, yum, zypper, rpm, apk, eopkg, pkgtools, emerge, xbps, flatpak, snap, pip, pipx, cargo, go, gem, cpan, yarn, pkg, pkgsrc, npm, swupd, macports, homebrew, guix, and nix. Normally tries to skip packages in your system base, but you can override this. This tool is only as reliable as the databases and logs of the package managers can make it. Apparent bugs in this tool may be upstream problems. When they are, consider filing a bug against the defective package manager rather than this tool.
